An established farm shop that was in desperate need of a complete refit to their retail area with new counters and new self-service displays.
We returned in late 2020 to re-model the Eurocryor counter to allow Honeywell to further develop their self-serve offer on fresh meat packs.
What we did
Supplied and installed all Eurocryor refrigerated display equipment the refrigeration engineering.
The shop refit was a major part of a complete new rebranding exercise for the business including new liveries. The customer even used recycled apple crates in the shop décor to help maintain an authentic traditional feel.
The 2020 upgrades to the counter have added extra versatility for display and sales of a much wider range of pre-packed meats.
Eurocryor Bistrot straight glass serveover counter
The shop was perfectly suited to the bespoke Eurocryor model Bistrot serveover counter and the Eurocryor model Gemini multideck for self-service to provide the ideal combination of product display possibilities and equipment aethestics to suit the large farm shop retail display area.
October 2020 update – we have remodelled both ends of the Bistrot counter so that these now offer additional, self-service to customers who can select a wider range of pre-packed meats without needing to queue (especially important during COVID-19 restrictions).
Benefits and results
The rebranded shop has seen increased turnover and footfall since the refit and the huge array of products in the butchery counters are frequently highlighted as part of social media campaigns.
Subsequent remodelling of the counter (October 2020) has also proved enormously successful, generating a huge boost in self-service sales of pre-packed fresh meat while maintaining the traditional serveover element for those customers who still require it.
