How do cold rooms work?

A cold room contains the following components:

  • A cold room door which is a rigid door with outstanding insulation to help maintain the temperature of the room.
  • Refrigerator fan which circulates air over cold coils and cools the room.
  • A Compressor which compresses the refrigerant gas.
  • A Condenser which cools hot gas into a cold liquid.
  • An expansion valve which controls the flow of liquid gas and cools the coil by absorbing energy.
